Murphy Conference Resort Nears Completion
Bruce LePage, estimator for Murphy Constructors, says his company
sees increased interest from customers in pre-engineered metal
building. "They're well-designed and efficient to build," he
says, adding that Aspen Coachworks just commissioned a new 4,000-square-foot
building on North Union Boulevard.
"We're getting inquiries from warehousing, distribution and
manufacturing companies while more institutional clients like post
offices and banks continue to prefer traditional tilt-up or brick
and mortar," he explains.
In other news, Murphy will complete work on a 6,000-square-foot
new aquatics facility at the Country Club of Colorado, complex
this spring for the neighboring Cheyenne Mountain Conference Resort.
The general contractor is also remodeling the resort's 300 guest
rooms updating flooring and interior finishes. Total project budget
is estimated at $1.3 million.
